Benimar is a newly developed area beside the old Spanish town of
Rojales.It is only 15 minutes from the Costa Blanca beaches of
Torrevieja and Guardamar.A mixture of the old and the new,it is possible
to walk down to the many local Bars,Shops and Restaurants which abound
,in a couple of minutes.The area boasts around 300 days of sunshine per
year,and is renowned for its healthy climate,being surrounded by the
famous Salt-Lakes.
Rojales is a typical Spanish village,situated on the River Segura, with
a very friendly population,it is well known for its Moors and Christians
fiestas in the Summertime.There is a local colourful weekly market every
Thursday.Life here is very tranquil!
